Pinfall Wrestling Association was founded by Antonie Archie & Mickey Thomas and in May of 2011 held its first event at the Nelson Center in Springfield, IL. From there events moved to the Q-Hut at Little Flower School in Southern View then over to the Jaycee's Activity Center at Bunn Park. PWA moved to Lanphier High School in 2015 and settled into the 8th Street Gym in the fall of 2017. Other events have been run in Jacksonville, Beardstown, Decatur, Athens and Auburn. Pinfall Academy was established in Auburn under the guidance of Guy Smith and Bradley Stephens to create new wrestlers - such as Rosko, Brent Dunn, Jake Lander, and female competitor Harley. The 2018 class included IJ Sweet, Johnny Kincaid & Dan Liplock.
